In one of its phenomenal decisions, Sukhinobhava Mission, Tiruvanamalai, charity organization has started following a “100% transparent ecosystem”- a model to publicly declare the financials of the organizations as well as the particulars.
With that the we become one of its kind charity organization that will not only display the latest financial stats on its website but also share the names of donors and corresponding donation amount in their WhatsApp group thus ensuring the people with different digital proficiency and preferences should enjoy the uniform transparency unimpeded by their technical/device limitations.
Amidst the rising ambiguity on the true financial stats of any NGO or charity organizations, this decision of voluntary disclosure of everyday financials with the key details can be called a welcome respite which will encourage others to follow the suite and will hopefully start a healthy growth (of transparent culture) in the charity landscape.
We also started working on plans to acknowledge and highlight the contributions from donors and volunteers as a token of respect for their assistance.
